Kate Gosselin is back!
In a sneak peek of TLC’s Kate Plus 8, Gosselin — along with her eight kids — prepares to celebrate 10 years of being on the air with birthday celebrations, new additions to the family, heated arguments, competition, and, of course, some pretty major meltdowns.
On May 14, 2006, Gosselin and her then-husband Jon opened up their home to viewers around the world. The Jon & Kate Plus 8 stars gave fans a glimpse of what life was like raising 5-year-old twins Mady and Cara and 16-month-old sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Joel.
Ten years later, Gosselin and the kids continue to grow mentally, physically and emotionally — but not without testing each other’s patience.
In the new season, Gosselin plans an elaborate boys vs. girls scavenger hunt to celebrate the sextuplets’ 12th birthday and puts together a special surprise for the twins’ 16th birthday. It’s not all fun and games though.
In the midst of all the birthday excitement, the realty TV star has a series of tiny meltdowns, causing her kids to label her as “over-dramatic” and “insane.”
“I just want you to stop yelling and being stressed,” Mady, 16, tells Gosselin at one point during the clip. “It’s annoying.”
After vacationing in the Poconos for the summer and welcoming two adorable puppies to the family, the season concludes with a family game night full of trivia from their 10 years on television. However, it seems as if Kate could be the last one picked.
“No one ever wants to be on Mommy’s team,” the twins explain. “She’s way too competitive.”
Kate Plus 8 returns Nov. 22 (10 p.m. ET) on TLC.
