Julianne Hough: I'm 'Completely and Utterly Madly in Love' with My Fiancé Brooks Laich

Posted on

There’s no question about it — Julianne Hough is madly in love with her fiancé, Brooks Laich!

The Dancing with the Stars judge enjoyed a date night with her husband-to-be on Monday evening, and documented their sweet night out on Instagram, where she gushed about the pro hockey player.

I am completely and utterly madly in love with you!” Hough, 28, captioned the smiling (and silly!) photo of the couple donning sunglasses.

“My best friend, my hero, my everything!” she wrote. “Best date night ever! ❤️❤️❤️ #abugslife.”

Laich, 33, first shared the picture to Instagram, and captioned the image of the duo: “Date night with this button!”

It’s been nearly two years since the couple announced their engagement in August 2015 after a-year-and-a-half of dating, and they are counting down the days until they tie the knot this summer.

Earlier this year, Hough gave a love-filled shout-out to her fiancé in an adorable Instagram post. “#MCM Holy Mother of Hotness! This is MY man!” she captioned a photo of Laich. “But all sexiness aside, I am the luckiest girl in the world to have you by my side to do life together. Can’t wait to marry you! #love #luckyme.”

Though Hough will have all eyes on her when she’s the brushing bride in white walking down the aisle to Laich, she definitely wants to maintain her overall physical appearance when the big day arrives.

“I want my wedding to feel glamorous, but timeless. And I think it goes from head to toe with your hair, your makeup, your dress and what you smell like,” Hough told PEOPLE in December, who maintains she wants to “look like me.”

“If I get super hot for my wedding day and I’m not afterwards, and I’m not before, then it’s like, ‘Who is this person marrying my fiancé?’ Or, ‘Who’s my fiancé marrying?’ ” Hough told PEOPLE in early March. “I don’t want to look different than what I look like normally.”
