Gia Giudice and her sisters spent their first Thanksgiving without their mother Teresa Giudice, who is currently serving out at the end of her 11.5-month prison sentence.

Gia shared moments from the Giudice gathering with fans, posting photos of herself with each family member including father Joe. This year’s Thanksgiving will be the last one he will spend with his girls before he starts his 41-month prison sentence in March.

“Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!” the eldest Giudice child, 14, wrote on Twitter.

Also featured in the photos were sisters Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 6.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 43, spent her holiday at the federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut, in efforts to shield her young daughters from spending their day behind bars.

“Teresa wants Thanksgiving to be as normal as possible for the girls,” a source told PEOPLE. “She just wants the girls to have a good day.”

Giudice is scheduled for release on Dec. 23 – just in time for Christmas, which she is very much looking forward to spending with her husband and children.

“They’ll definitely spend Christmas together. [Joe] goes in in March, so they’ll have a couple of months together, which is great,” an insider told PEOPLE.
