Gavin Rossdale has signed on to become a coach on The Voice UK!

The Bush frontman joins fellow newcomer Jennifer Hudson alongside veteran coaches Will.I.Am and Tom Jones.

“I’m so thrilled to be joining The Voice UK,” Rossdale, 50, said in a statement. “I’ve always been extremely proud to fly the flag for British rock music and I can’t wait to join this incredible panel and help discover some new talent.”

The British singer’s Voice debut comes over one year since his ex-wife Gwen Stefani appeared on the American series when she was a coach for season seven (fall 2014) and nine (fall 2015).

Rossdale and Stefani – who are parents to sons Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2 – finalized their divorce in April after nearly a 13-year marriage.

Stefani is currently dating Blake Shelton, whom she met on the singing competition.

Will.I.Am, who has also coached on the Australian version, has been the only panelist to have appeared on all five seasons of the The Voice UK. Jones appeared on four, winning the inaugural season.

The Voice UK is set to air on its new home on ITV in 2017.
