Fuller House is almost here – but to tide you over, a clip of the first trailer has been released.
The video, which debuted Tuesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, has all the makings of a total nostalgia fest, complete with the unforgettable theme song, all the classic one-liners (“Have mercy!” “Cut it out!” and “How rude!”) and heartwarming family scenes.
Later on Tuesday, the full trailer debuted:
Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) hits the nail on the head at family dinner: “Before we eat, I have something very important to say, okay? … Damn, we all still look good!”
“I love this show so much,” Andrea Barber, 39 – who came out of retirement for the reboot – gushed as she cuddled up to her costars Candace Cameron-Bure, 39, and Jodie Sweetin, 34, after watching the trailer.
And while Olsen twins aren’t part of the much-anticipated Netflix reboot, the women all agreed the opportunity is always there if Mary-Kate and Ashley want to get involved.
“Do you think the Olsen twins will make a guest appearance?” host Ellen DeGeneres asked after Cameron-Bure said they’re all hoping for a second season of Fuller House.
“I don’t know, the door’s open if they want to!” Cameron-Bure said.
“Yeah, the door’s always open,” Barber added.
“We make reference to them on the show, though, so they are not forgotten. We talk about them,” Cameron-Bure said.
Chimed in Sweetin: “Yeah, we definitely acknowledge Michelle [Tanner], being, you know, present.”
Fuller House premieres on Netflix on Feb. 26.
