The Duggar family has been beset by newsmaking scandals for most of 2015, so it’s little surprise they’ve inspired a storyline on Law & Order: SVU.

PEOPLE has confirmed that the NBC procedural, long known for ripping its plots straight from the headlines, is airing an episode featuring a large family that must confront a “web of secrets.”

“Patrimonial Burden,” a fictional riff on the Duggars’ recent travails, follows conservative reality TV parents whose attempt to raise their 10 children in a “virtuous” lifestyle is challenged when the pregnancy of their 13-year-old daughter exposes them to the scrutiny of the show’s police unit.

News of this storyline comes just three months after TLC announced the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting and swift on the heels of September’s news that Duggar daughters Jill (Duggar) Dillard and Jessa (Duggar) Seewald will each have specials chronicling their lives in the wake of scandals surrounding their brother Josh this past year.

As E! Online first reported, Tony nominees Christopher Sieber, Geneva Carr and Andy Karl will guest-star in the episode, as will Chris Elliott, Ryan Devlin and Victoria Leigh.

NBC has not offered any more information on how closely SVU‘s take will hew to the events that have impacted the Duggar clan since May, including the revelation that eldest son Josh, now 27, molested five underage girls as a teenager (including Jill, now 24, and Jessa, now 22) as well as Josh’s admission in August that he had cheated on his wife using Ashley Madison and become addicted to Internet pornography.
