“If we could do it without [Fred], then possibly,” McKellar tells PEOPLE Now potentially revisiting The Wonder Years. “But I just don’t know if it would feel the same.”
McKellar continues, “Who would narrate it?”

McKellar also weighs in on Savage’s recent appearance as co-host of Live, saying, “He’s fantastic, he’s super talented.”
As for Savage possibly becoming a permanent co-host? “He’s so good with physical comedy,” McKellar says. “He’s just fast and smart, he’s all over it.”

Next up, McKellar is starring as a commitment-phobic professional on Hallmark’s Wedding Bells.
“It’s a romantic, it’s so adorable,” she teases – though she does admit the role wasn’t without its challenges.
“There are a couple of lines where I talk about that fact that I don’t think it’s worth it to fall in love because you open yourself up to pain and things like that,” McKellar PEOPLE. “I really had to dig deep to find that character.”
She adds that the movie has “one of my favorite scenes I’ve ever shot – it’s very emotional, very romantic. Get your tissues out!”
