Dancing with the Stars revealed on Tuesday’s elimination night that one of its pro dancers was a former underwear model – and saw the first contestant be eliminated at the end of the live show.

Prior to his days as a pro dancer on DWTS, Gleb Savchenko spent his time donning boxer briefs underwear in front of waterfalls as a model.

“Ladies and gentlemen, Gleb as an underwear model,” host Erin Andrews stated before a clip played showcasing the dancer posing in the water with a spinning Mirror Ball covering a certain private area.

As the audience – and his partner Jana Kramer – laughed during the throwback video, an embarrassed Savchenko hid behind Kramer before he raised his hands and took in the cheers from the crowd.

At the close of the evening, four couples – Jake T. Austin and Jenna Johnson, Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev, and Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke – were in jeopardy of being eliminated before it was revealed that the former Disney actor would not be proceeding in the competition.

“It was so much fun. I had a blast,” Austin, 21, said after being eliminated. “Learning from Jenna was the opportunity of a lifetime. This was an incredible experience.”

“This caught me by totally off guard. But you know what, you just kind of hope for the best, prepare for the worst and just like go with it,” Austin told PEOPLE of the vote. “So again, I did this for my fans. I did something I was so uncomfortable doing. Totally new experience for me. If I can go back, I’d do it all over again.”

Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
