She’s in a sweet spot at the top of the leader board for the second week in a row, but Brandy, who rocked the tango on Dancing with the Stars Monday with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, isn’t getting too comfortable in the premier position.

“I don’t want to think about being the frontrunner,” the singer said in an interview with PEOPLE after Monday’s show. “It’s so much pressure.”

Instead, the singer wants to “focus on doing a good job” and put in “that extra hard work.”

That means more than just learning the steps and choregraphy. “It’s really about connecting to the actual feeling of the dance,” she said.
