Looks as if they won’t be there for you.

Courteney Cox visited The Late Show Monday night and, when asked by Dave Letterman – per a federally mandated law that requires everyone to inquire about this – about a Friends reunion, Cox was unequivocal: No dice.

Stop trying to make a Friends reunion happen, everyone.

“It’s not gonna happen,” Cox flatly told Letterman, describing the jumping-through-hoops process that a full-on reunion would entail. She even claimed she’s been trying to get the cast together for dinner since the show wrapped, to no avail.

Last year, Matthew Perry shot down the idea of a reunion as well, and the show’s co-creator Marta Kauffman echoed his sentiments a few weeks later.

Jennifer Aniston, for her part, told Conan O’Brien last August that she had a nightmare the Friends reunion had occurred – but that she wasn’t invited.

There probably won’t be any danger of that happening, Jennifer.
