After successfully launching the acclaimed scripted series Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce and Odd Mom Out, Bravo is continuing its foray into fictionalized television with their new original drama, Imposters. And it’s enlisting the help of an Oscar-nominated actress to do so — Uma Thurman!
PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the first trailer for the new show from the network that brought the Real Housewives franchise to the pop culture forefront, premiering this winter.
Previously announced as My So-Called Wife, the show stars Israeli-American actress Inbar Lavi (The Last Ship) as persona-shifting con-artist Maddie — who has left a trail of angry exes behind her after robbing them of everything they have.
Said dejected lovers (played by Rob Heaps, Parker Young, and Marianne Rendón) team up to track her down just as Maddie meets her latest potential love interest, Being Mary Jane‘s Stephen Bishop — who himself could ultimately get in the way of pursuing her newest mark
“Do we ever really know the one we’re with?” the show asks in its sexy sneak peek.
Thurman, 46, will join the cast in the show’s third episode as Lenny Cohen — a fixer who is sent to keep the con artists in line and eliminate any potential enemies.
The show also stars Brian Benben (Dream On) and Katherine LaNasa (The Campaign) as Max and Sally — Maddie’s trusted cohorts.
Imposters premieres Feb. 7 at 10 pm. ET on Bravo.
