Betty White has combined two of her passions – acting and animal advocacy – in her latest project, and it’s basically the cutest thing you’ll see this week.

In a clip for Discovery Family’s upcoming “Pawgust” campaign, White plays with a gaggle of pooches and makes paw puns (see: “paw-some,” “paws-itively paw-dorable,” “raise the woof”).

Discovery Family is bringing a very literal meaning to the phrase “dog days of summer” by offering 200 hours of animal-themed programming throughout the month of August (a.k.a. Pawgust), including classics (The Jungle Book, Where the Wild Things Are) and the premiere of From Wags to Riches with Bill Berloni.

White, 93, has been a longtime advocate for animals. In addition to 50-plus years of involvement at the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association, one of her memoirs – Betty & Friends: My Life at the Zoo – even celebrates her love for furry friends.

From Wags to Riches with Bill Berloni, which follows the famed animal trainer turn shelter pets into stars, premieres Aug. 6 at 9 p.m. ET on Discovery Family.
