The news comes just 10 days weeks after Thorne, 18, and Sulkin, 24, announced their split exclusively with PEOPLE, and it seems the exes have stayed true to their vow to “always love each other.”
The exes are working together on the TV movie Drink, Slay, Love, with Sulking tackling the leading man role opposite The Fosters‘ Cierra Ramirez and and Thorne serving as co-executive producer on.
“So happy to be executive producing this film and getting to work with the team again!! Watching dailies as we speak!!! @cierraramirez and @greggsulkin are killing it as leads!!” Thorne wrote on Instagram Thursday announcing the news.
In their joint statement announcing the split, the actors told PEOPLE: “After much thought and soul-searching, we have made the difficult decision to end our relationship. We will always love each other and have a deep respect for one another, as we have each grown to be better people because of our time together. Our schedules made seeing each other difficult, and we decided that for now this would be best.”
