Bachelorette Villain Chad Johnson Has a Girlfriend: 'On a Scale from One to Happy, I'm Totally Happy'

Posted on

Chad Johnson is off the market!

The Bachelorette villain, who starred on JoJo Fletcher‘s season 12, and later went on to appear on Bachelor in Paradise season 3, revealed to Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday that he is dating model Zoe Baron.

“I do have a girlfriend right now,” said Johnson, 28. “We’ve been dating off and on I think two or three months and I think we made it official like two weeks ago.”

According to the Oklahoma native, who will appear on the upcoming season of Famously Single, Baron reached out to him via his business email and asked him “how to get in shape.”

“We actually just met up at a big seafood place and just had some drinks and linguine,” he said about the first date.

Though they’ve only been dating for a few months, things have quickly gotten serious between the official couple.

“So happy,” admitted Johnson. “On a scale from one to happy, I’m totally happy.”

While Johnson has not yet said the formal “I love you” to Baron, he admits that it’s “right there” and they have exchanged “luv” through text messages.

And although Johnson is no longer on The Bachelorette, he’s still managing to stir the pot with some of Rachel Lindsay’s contestants, specifically Lucas Yancey, a.k.a. Whaboom guy.

“I watched to see if Lucas, the Whaboom guy, got kicked off, and then when he didn’t get kicked off, I trademarked his Whaboom,” Johnson told ET about purchasing the trademark. “I bought it, but then when I told him about it and everything, he didn’t really get how it worked.”

“Then I realized that by the time the trademark actually kicked in, it was like three or four months, he’d probably be off the show by then, and no one would care,” said Johnson, who rerouted his Bachelorette rivals’ domain names to his own Instagram page last year. “I was like, ‘I’ll sell it to you, for double my money.’ I just got a refund. It hadn’t fully gone through. It was like $500.”

This summer, Johnson will star alongside Dancing with the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff, Khloé Kardashian’s BFF Malika Haqq, Jersey Shore vet Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, British ex-military-turned-actor David Mcintosh, former Flavor of Love contestant Tiffany Pollard, British model Calum Best and #RichKids of Beverly Hills star Dorothy Wang for Famously Single season 2.
