Ferrell, who was chosen by Juan Pablo Galavis at the end of The Bachelor‘s 18th season, blasted ABC producers Tuesday night on Twitter while watching the culmination of The Bachelorette – seemingly in reference, fans say, to Nick Viall’s revelation that he’d slept with Andi Dorfman – and suggesting that producers pushed him to admit it.
“Feeling like you did, if you knew how in love with you I was, why did you make love with me?” Viall told Dorfman, much to Dorfman’s – and Ferrell’s – dismay.
“Gee I wonder who told Nick to say that,” Ferrell wrote on Twitter. “How the producers of @BachelorABC sleep at night is beyond me. #trash.”
Later, she added a more upbeat Tweet about the show’s conclusion. “But on a positive note so beyond happy for @AndiDorfman and @jmurbulldog I bet it feels so good to be free! #congrats,” she wrote.
Galavis didn’t propose to Ferrell, a pediatric nurse from Missouri, during the Bachelor finale, but they did continue their relationship. Earlier this month, multiple sources told PEOPLE that the couple had not split, despite speculation that they had.
