Posted on

Bachelor superfans, ready your drinking games: The official Bachelor in Paradise 2017 cast has been revealed!

On Tuesday, ABC announced the initial cast for this season, and one of the most exciting prospects is the chance to watch bitter enemies Corinne Olympios and Taylor Nolan reignite their feud from Nick Viall‘s season. Elsewhere in Bachelor Nation villainy, Rachel Lindsay‘s suitor DeMario Jackson is getting a second chance to prove himself after Lindsay told him to “get the f— out” of her sight when his girlfriend showed up early into this season.

Read the full list below:

  • Raven Gates of The Bachelor season 21 (Nick)

Also among the contestants, fan-favorite Raven Gates is joined by several ladies from Viall’s season (seriously, they make up half the cast so far), JoJo Fletcher‘s runner-up Robby Hayes and previously confirmed returning BiP alum Amanda Stanton, who is hoping to move on from ex-fiancé Josh Murray (to whom she got engaged last season on the show). And, as per usual, expect a few randoms to come out of the woodwork as the season gets underway.

For the uninitiated, ABC first premiered Bachelor in Paradise — the now-beloved, alcohol-soaked spin-off — in 2014. Every summer since, the network has shipped in Bachelor and Bachelorette alums to a beachside house in Mexico. The initial cast starts with an uneven number of men and women, and at the end of the week, they pair up during a rose ceremony, which determines who from the outnumbered group will be going home. Each week, the show brings in more contestants, which flips the rotation.

And it’s not all just drunken hookups — the series has spawned a total of five engagements since season 1, though only two couples remain together: season 2 alums Jade and Tanner Tolbert, who are now married and expecting a baby girl this year, and Carly Waddell and Evan Bass, who have been engaged since the season finale last year.

Bachelor in Paradise premieres Aug. 8 on ABC.
