“I always said to myself, ‘Wouldn’t it be cool to be the host of this show?’ And then, bang. One day, there we were!”
He adds: “This gave me chance now to do something where I can use my personality and the various different parts of Arnold. The other celebrities and how I get them to interact with each other is going to be the secret to the whole show.”
Based in Los Angeles, the former governor of California could not be more pleased of the season’s new location, describing it as “refreshing.”
“I’m so happy that this season is taking place in Los Angeles,” contestant and actress Brooke Burke-Charvet says. “I feel like that gives me and the locals the home turf advantage”
Though this season is bound to be filled with tough competition, feisty personalities, and undeniable drama, it has a positive goal. “The biggest aspect of the show is giving back,” Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Porsha Williams says.
“It’s a show that is smart, it has a lot of heart, we raise money for charity and I think Arnold is a great poster child for that because he’s made it,” adds Kressley.
The new season of Celebrity Apprentice premieres Jan. 2 on NBC.
