Kaitlyn Maher is going to Las Vegas–as long as she can skip out on her kindergarten classes for a while.

The 4-year-old singer is the youngest contestant to advance to the next round on NBC’s summer reality competition America’s Got Talent.

Judges Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff reunited with host Jerry Springer last night for the third season in New York, where they unanimously voted for Kaitlyn (watch a clip of her audition) to advance after her rendition of Linda Ronstadt’s “Somewhere Out There.”

Even the Hoff teared up. “Unbelievable,” he said after her audition.

Other notable acts were the violinist brothers Nuttin But Strings and the dancing trombonist. Not moving on? Mary Bly, the 80-year-old tap dancer, who Piers said looked like “Shirley Temple who got lost in a forest.” Ouch.

Auditions continue next Tuesday on NBC at 9 p.m. ET. –Emmet Sullivan
