With more than 30 years of hosting Jeopardy under his belt, you’d think Alex Trebek could just coast from here on out. Nope. He still goes the extra mile for fans.

The results are probably about what you might expect, but the performance has become a viral sensation just because it happened – because Alex Trebek rapped when he didn’t have to, because it meant that he’s watched his share of Fresh Prince, because we’ve all now heard him speak the phrase “Yo, homes, smell ya later.”

If Trebek can work more instances of “Smell ya later” into his hosting duties, all the better.
