Turns out, things are never dull when you have 19 kids – and counting.
The new season of TLC’s hit reality show 19 Kids & Counting launches Feb. 17 at 9 p.m. – and in a sneak peek of the episodes ahead, fans are let in on a lot of the surprises in store for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their expansive clan.
“With 19 kids there’s just a lot going on all the time,” Michelle, 48, says in the clip.
That’s an understatement.
Before Jill, 23, and her new husband revealed her pregnancy exclusively to PEOPLE, they had to tell her family the big news. Jill had taken one of her mother’s pregnancy tests from the family home, something her parents didn’t know at the time.
“Yesterday, I kind of took something, stole something,” she announces to her gathered siblings and parents in the clip, as her father, Jim Bob, 49, registers shock.
While the season promises more on the lives of older brother Josh, 26, who is anticipating the arrival of his fourth child with wife Anna, 25 (the couple are already parents to daughter Mackynzie, 5, and sons Michael, 3, and Marcus, 1), there is also a scary moment with the youngest Duggar: Josie, 5, who was born prematurely. The clip shows that Josie suffered a frightening seizure.
“Josie seized 15 minutes before the paramedics got into the house and then kept seizing the whole way here,” Jana, 25, says in the clip as she speaks from a hospital room with her little sister. Viewers will have to tune in to find out the details of her medical situation.
And what would another Duggar season be without a wedding?
“Jessa is one of the most beautiful girls in the world. I just can’t believe that I’m going to be giving her away,” Jim Bob says in the clip as he prepares to walk his daughter down the aisle.
