• They may have been dining with a group, but Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were pretty focused on each other while enjoying a meal at Agura in L.A. Upon their arrival, an onlooker tells us, “Zac and Vanessa were very affectionate. The whole group seemed to be laughing and having a great time.” Among their friends at the dinner: Brittany Snow, while Ashley Greene was also dining there, separately.

• Forget the classic double date: Renée Zellweger and Bradley Cooper enjoyed a group dinner with five celebrity couples at Street, a restaurant in Hollywood. The duo was joined by John Krasinski and Emily Blunt; Amy Poehler and Will Arnett; Jason Bateman and wife Amanda; Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard; and Jimmy Kimmel and his blonde date. According to an observer, Blunt and Krasinski “were making out at the table at one point,” while another engaged couple, Shepard and Bell, “were being cute together.” Everyone sat next to their dates except for Bradley and Renée, who sat across from each other. They also snuck out earlier than the other guests, the observer says, while the rest of the group spent more than three hours sampling the menu, laughing and fielding visits from future Top Chef Masters competitor, and restaurant owner, chef Susan Feniger.

Forest Whitaker threw his wife Keisha an all-star birthday soirée at Todd English’s Juliet Supper Club in New York. The happy couple sipped Belvedere Clover Club cocktails and ate Mediterranean-themed tapas in a private dining room filled with red balloons, champagne, while friends like Mary J. Blige, Estelle and Russell Simmons toasted the birthday girl.

Nicolas Cage, wife Alice Kim and son Kal-El, lunching at the Polo Lounge inside the Beverly Hills Hotel. After the hostess set up a booth for the family, Cage doted on his son, making sure he was happy and enjoying lunch while he and his wife chatted.

Mickey Rourke and his model girlfriend Anastassija Makarenko, sharing a long romantic meal at Matsuri restaurant in The Maritime Hotel in New York City. While Rourke cut into a sirloin steak, Makarenko nibbled on black cod. The two split coconut crème brulee for dessert.
