Vanessa Hudgens and an especially “bubbly” Emma Stone made a friendly connection at Condé Nast Traveler‘s Hot List Party at the Soho House in West Hollywood, a party guest says. The Spider-Man actress skipped the food, but she did enjoy a Bombay Sapphire gin cocktail and also was introduced to Brooklyn Decker earlier in the evening. An onlooker says Stone was definitely the “it girl” of the party, while Hudgens was more low-key, and did not stick around for too long.

Neil Patrick Harris grabbed a smoothie and other healthy goodies at Earth Bar in West Hollywood. The actor was in great spirits as he shopped with friends, and asked employees for recommendations before heading out with his entourage.

• Also focused on healthy eating: Marcia Cross, who ordered kale with spicy peanut sauce, quinoa and salmon rolls while dining at M Café in Beverly Hills with a male friend. The Desperate Housewives star washed it all down with an apple-carrot juice.

Sean Penn stepped out – sans girlfriend Scarlett Johansson – for fish and chips with son Hopper and another pal at Gladstones in Malibu, Calif. “They were pretty low key,” an onlooker says of the guys. “[Penn] seemed to be relaxing,” though the actor accidentally left his credit card at the restaurant.
