Glee‘s Mark Salling joined friends at Big Wangs in Hollywood on Thursday night to watch the Lakers-Celtics basketball playoff game. Wearing jeans, a black T-shirt and Gucci sneakers, he managed to stay incognito while sipping beers and chatting with his comrades. An obvious Lakers fan, Salling dipped his head, put on his black ball cap and closed his tab when his team ended up losing.

• New BFF alert? Jake Gyllenhaal and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine joined forces for a guys’ night out at L.A.’s Las Palmas Wednesday night. The Prince of Persia star was happy to people-watch and sip a drink while his buddy entertained. “They were telling each other jokes and funny stories all night,” says a source. Though several ladies tried to catch the guys’ attention, the boys “didn’t put much effort into snagging girls.”

• Before going ab-to-ab with Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino at the CMT Music Awards in Nashville, John Mayer fueled up with a filling meal at New York City’s China Grill on Tuesday. The singer, who recently canceled several European tour dates due to illness, tucked into lobster pancakes, calamari salad, baked cod and avocado stir-fried rice.

• Even teen pop stars get snack attacks sometimes! After performing on Today in New York City recently, singing sensation Justin Bieber called upon Empire Hotel security to help him slip out from his room to nearby eatery Rosa Mexicano for some chips and salsa. The hotel’s team helped him walk out their back door – virtually unnoticed – and slink into the restaurant to satisfy his craving.

Proud new papa Eric Dane took a break from daddy duty Wednesday night to celebrate a pal’s birthday at The Palm in West Hollywood. He dined with a large group of spirited guys, who sang “Happy Birthday” to the man of the hour after they finished their meal. The Grey’s Anatomy star left around 10 o’clock, after telling a friend he had to hurry home to his wife and baby.

Real Housewives of New York City star Jill Zarin indulged in a bit of retail therapy on Monday at New York City’s Century 21, with college-bound daughter Ally in tow. The pair perused everything from makeup and skincare products to Father’s Day gifts for Zarin’s husband Bobby, and left with bags full.
