Halle Berry, picking up some necessities at a CVS drugstore in Malibu. During her shopping trip, the obliging actress even posed with fans who asked her for photographs in the parking lot.

• A newly single Johnny Knoxville spending a rather wholesome Friday night grocery shopping at Mayfield Market in Beechwood Canyon with a female friend. Walking in around 10 p.m., the Jackass star arrived wearing his signature blue worker’s shirt. Reaching for a grocery basket, Knoxville hit the aisle, chatting with his friend and looking relaxed and ready for a night in, a fellow shopper tells us.

• A solo Drew Barrymore, scoping out the music at Temporary Spaces. (The venue, started by Los Angeles promoter Sean Patrick, will move locations every three weeks.) The actress arrived a bit late into British band Whitey’s show – but she stayed until the lights came on after midnight. Dressed down, Barrymore blended in perfectly with the hipster crowd but stood out in one way: her generosity with the bar staff. After ordering two drinks, the actress left the bartender $30 a tip!

• Who is Mario Lopez hanging out with in Paris? In town for pal Eva Longoria‘s nuptials, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant made an impromptu date with 50 Cent. Lopez bumped into the rapper – and his entourage – at the reception desk of the Park Hyatt Paris. According to an onlooker, the friends wasted no time, heading out together immediately.

Hayden Panettiere, walking her two dogs down a side street in West Hollywood. Dressed in a maroon tank top and jean shorts, the Heroes star was fresh out of the shower with her hair up and wet. Along the way, her dogs stopped to play with some other pups on the street. An onlooker tells us: “Hayden loved it, she was very playful with the dogs herself too!”

• Meanwhile, other members of Heroes cast have found the time to bond as shooting continues on the NBC show. Off-set, Milo Ventimiglia, Adrian Pasdar and Sendhil Ramamurthy dropped into Frittelli’s, a Beverly Hills doughnut and coffee shop for a morning pick-me-up. The group ordered a “coffee crush” and some iced tea.

Stephen Colbert, serving coffee at the Dine for the Charleston Nine event at the South Carolina city’s Charleston Place Hotel. The Colbert Report host, who grew up in the area, arrived incognito and delighted benefit attendees with his beverage service. And good spirits permeated the evening: The event, which benefited family members of the nine firefighters who recently died in the line of duty, raised almost $500,000.
