Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are on the fast track to becoming fashion’s most powerful couple. First Hadid collaborated with Tommy Hilfiger for her own capsule collection, and now Malik is teaming up with Versus Versace to design and model the brand’s next line. (There needs to be something bigger than #relationshipgoals to describe these two.)

We first spotted something sneaky going on when Hadid took a break from the catwalk during Fashion Month to sit by her beau at the Versus Versace show during London Fashion Week and hang out with designer Donatella Versace backstage. Hadid’s been a model for the brand for a few seasons now, but little did we know they were actually chatting about Malik’s new gig (as Donatella teases in an Instagram).

In a press release it was announced he will work closely with Donatella to design a Zayn x Versus capsule collection including both men’s and women’s clothing.

The pieces will be available to shop in May 2017, but you can get a first glimpse when Malik’s ad campaign drops in February. (We have a feeling Zigi will be making a cameo together in the ads.)

“When we first met, he told me how much he loves fashion,” Donatella says in the release. “I thought it would be fantastic to collaborate on a new Versus collection together.”

And Malik is predictably just as excited about the partnership. “I think Versus has always been a very cool brand,” he says in a statement. “It’s a great brand for me and for people in my generation. I’ve always wanted to design clothes, and there’s no brand I’d rather design for than Versus. The bonus is that I get to collaborate with Donatella, whom I love and admire. I know we’ll create something amazing.”

But this actually doesn’t mark the singer’s first foray into designing. He recently worked with Giuseppe Zanotti to design suede desert boots and just this week, his girl was spotted sporting the “Zigi” style. (Wonder where that name inspiration came from?)

With both collaborations hitting stores in 2017, you have plenty of time to save up to start dressing in head-to-toe “Zayn.”
