Even if you’re not planning your own trip down the aisle, you probably have a folder on your desktop labeled “wedding dresses” or a board on Pinterest dedicated to gowns because, let’s face it — they’re so much fun to stare at. That’s why we love bridal fashion week: It’s a whole lot of pretty in a short period of time. But since high-end designer bridal gowns are a pipe dream for most of us, we especially love Zac Posen for providing high style at a lower price.
The designer launched his debut line Truly by Zac Posen at David’s Bridal in February, and he maintains that all the designs in the collection are representative of his high-fashion brand.
“I love everything about a woman’s shape, and my dresses embody that,” Posen tells PEOPLE. “What I love about this collaboration with David’s Bridal is that I’m able to infuse couture and red carpet elements to a collection that is beautiful and at an accessible price point. Most importantly, the collection is offered in a wide range of sizes, making it truly special for every bride. I believe there is a dress for every type of woman.”
“You can see many of my signature design elements throughout this line — not only in the gowns, but the social occasion dresses as well,” he tells PEOPLE. “The bride is the most important person in the wedding; however, in order for the wedding day to be complete every person involved must look and feel elegant and sophisticated as well. The line would feel incomplete if it didn’t offer a range … for the entire bridal party.”
And we think most bridesmaids out there would be pretty happy if the bride asked them to wear one of the gorgeous gowns below, priced between $100 and $300. The styles are definitely ones you’d want to wear again, not like the ones hanging in your closet that make you giggle every time you see them.

As for which celebrity bride-to-be he’d love to dress (it seems like everyone is engaged at the moment, from Olivia Palermo and Lauren Conrad to Kim Kardashian), the designer pleaded the fifth. “I’ve been fortunate enough to dress many talented and beautiful woman throughout my career,” he said. “It’d be difficult to choose just one!”
