If you don’t watch Mad Men, the name Jessica Paré may be new to you. The 29-year-old Montreal native — who joined the show in 2010 and also appeared in Hot Tub Time Machine — is suddenly all over the fashion scene, making a splash at stylish events throughout New York.
“She’s just so statuesque and proper,” designer Jason Wu tells InStyle.com. “She … [is] more gorgeous in person if that’s possible.”
Paré wore Wu’s designs — a velvet blouse and pink skirt (second from left) — to last week’s CFDA Awards. She “stole the show,” Wu says of the first-time presenter.
Weeks before at the prestigious Met Gala, Paré stunned in a shimmering golden cap-sleeve gown by L’Wren Scott (left), accessorized with a black Christian Louboutin clutch and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Last Wednesday, Paré surfaced at a swanky Chanel event looking mod in a black ensemble punctuated by a yellow tweed jacket (second from right). And this past weekend, she went outside of the box, choosing a black-and-brown kaleidoscope-print silk and wool sheath by Prabal Gurung for the 2012 Broadcast, Cable and Video Awards. With so many winning looks in her wardrobe already, we can’t wait to see what she wears next. Tell us: Are you a fan of Paré’s style?
