Wife, mother … model! Camila McConaughey is stepping in front of the lens again, this time as the face of Macy’s runway-inspired I.N.C. International Concepts fall 2012 collection. The Brazilian-born stunner will appear in ads in print, online, on TV and in store beginning this fall, with an interactive component kicking off in August on macys.com/inc.
The appointment is all the more appropriate given that Macy’s is currently promoting the newlywed’s homeland through its “A Magical Journey to Brasil” collection and campaign, which features products and clothing by designers with Brazilian roots (like Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa).
“Camila brings an enticing combination of down-to-earth beauty and exotic influence to the line,” Nancy Slavin, SVP of Marketing at Macy’s Merchandising Group. says in a release. “Juggling the roles of mother, red-carpet regular, entrepreneur and philanthropist, her eclectic lifestyle is inspiring for the I.N.C. woman.” McConaughey, who has modeled in the past, also has her own line of Brazilian handbags, MUXO, which she designs with her mother.
