We definitely took advantage of Black Friday (and Cyber Monday, and “Oh what the heck” Sunday, and … ) — we scored some seriously great deals that we want to share with you. Read on to check out the great bargains we found, as well as the one splurgeworthy item beloved by style blogger (and as of this week, TV star!) Courtney Kerr.

Courtney Kerr, style blogger and star of Courtney Loves Dallas: I used rely on a new wardrobe to get me by in every new season. But in my wiser (okay, maybe older) years, I am trusting my fashionable gut to tell what purchases I desperately need to make.
This winter, I’m investing my hard-earned dollars in pieces that can accompany my already-awesome basics. My closet is already full of neutral coats, so why not splurge on a totally impractical piece of outerwear — like a plaid coat from Zara? But honestly, is this coat really that impractical? It goes with all my black (duh), it works with denim (obvi!), and it’s a dream over any bold solid color.
When mixed with the right accent items like a red lip, a red beanie, and a bold crystal statement necklace, I mean, its pretty much holiday magic. So, basically, this season, the only problem with not splurging on the plaid coat is — well, not splurging on the plaid coat.
Courtney Loves Dallas premieres Thursday on Bravo. Tune in, and follow her blog and on Twitter!

Brittany Talarico, Associate Style Editor: I know what you’re thinking: This girl is suffering from a pants identity crisis. First, these these floral harem bottoms. Now, plaid?! It’s true, I like to experiment with different prints. Plus, I’m a firm believer in buying what you love in the moment and what you feel comfortable in. (And as you just learned from Courtney, plaid is having a moment right now!)
So during my Black Friday shopping adventures, I couldn’t pass by these cropped Joe Fresh trousers. They totally remind me of this Kourtney Kardashian pair I’ve been obsessed with. And they go with more tops in my closet then I originally anticipated. I’ve already worn them with a chambray shirt and snakeskin pumps, which I totally forgot to snap an #OOTD photo of, or I would have shared my styling instead of the stock photo.
The best part? They were an additional 25% off the reduced price. Maybe I’ll get them in the classic red tartan pattern too!

Andrea Lavinthal, Style Director: This week’s post should really be renamed “What We’re Not Buying,” since that list would be shorter. Thanks to Gray Thursday, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Purple Tuesday (yes, I made up that last one), I spent my future children’s college tuition on clothes this week.
You may recall that I was agonizing over whether or not to to buy a Theory LBD before Black Friday. Well, I couldn’t wait, and ended up ordering the dress at the original 40% off, along with a Theory sweater and a Kain dress.
On Black Friday I scored tops by Joie and L’Agence at Neiman Marcus where they were offering 25% off of sale items. And because I was on a total shopping high, I ended the weekend at Rebecca Taylor where they were also doing 25% off of already reduced merchandise. I went home with this tux vest which I had been lusting after for over a month. It was originally $525 and I paid $158, plus three more shirts (related: I also had to buy more hangers to accommodate all my new purchases).
And yes, I am well aware that my shopper’s high will come crashing down as soon as I get this month’s AmEx bill.
Alex Apatoff, Style News Editor: I had the complete opposite experience of Andrea’s Black Friday shopping extravaganza. In fact, I’d like to rename the column “What We Tried to Buy and Failed” this week.
After writing a post on the many stars who love this Rebecca Minkoff jacket, I couldn’t help myself — I Googled the jacket to see if I could snag it at a great Black Friday markdown. And Bluefly totally delivered! This leather-and-ponte “Becky” jacket was marked down to under $200, and I couldn’t whip out my credit card fast enough.
Well, this morning, when I eagerly checked my email to see when it would arrive, I saw that my order had been canceled and I hadn’t noticed over the busy weekend. And when I went back to Bluefly, I was greeted with a sad, sold-out sight. There wasn’t enough SadTrombone.com in the world to describe how I felt.
