REBECCA TAYLOR GOWN
Andrea Lavinthal, Style & Beauty Director: The ratio of first birthday party invites to save-the-dates on my fridge is like a zillion to one, but that’s not stopping me from buying a new dress for wedding season. I love everything about this Rebecca Taylor design, from the flowy shape to the summery shade. I’ll style it with gold accessories and a glass of champagne (something you won’t find at a baby’s bash).

HAUTE HIPPIE TUXEDO JUMPSUIT
Zoë Ruderman, Deputy Style & Beauty Director: While my friends who are getting married this year are registering for blenders and sheets and overpriced candlesticks, I’d like to register for this jumpsuit. I’m not engaged, but I don’t think I should let that stop me. It’s unique, it’s flattering, it’s black-tie-appropriate, it’s sexy and, unlike the majority of the gifts my friends are putting on their shower and wedding wish lists, this will actually get used.

LOVERS + FRIENDS X REVOLVE "THE KEEPER" MAXI
Catherine Kast, Writer-Reporter: There’s only one gal at the wedding who can wear white, but who says you can’t lighten up your own look by masking the classic nuptial hue with an abstract floral? The ladylike silhouette makes this maxi a daytime wedding winner and it’s one of the few I’ve found that works just as well with heels as it does with the flats that you change into before you hit the dance floor. I just may break out the Manolo Blahnik “Kahikalow I wore to my own wedding to pair with this!

ALICE + OLIVIA "LAVINIA" DRESS
Brittany Talarico, Associate Style Editor: I live in maxi dresses all summer, so when I found one formal enough to wear to a wedding (I have four this year, plus my own), it was a matter of need not want. This one has leather trim on the neckline, a T back with an exposed zipper and a crochet skirt overlay that lets my legs peek through, but still works if the invitation calls for black-tie. And it’s perfect for those back shots I love to post on Instagram.

DAVID'S BRIDAL BRIDESMAID DRESS
Alex Apatoff, Style News Editor: I was really intrigued by the WHITE Vera Wang bridesmaid dress collection at David’s Bridal – not for my own bridesmaids, that ship has sailed – but for myself. After all, the dresses come in great colors, have cool detailing (like interesting necklines and precise draping) that Vera Wang is known for, plus I can report back that they’re really well-made. I wore one similar to this dress for a recent wedding I was in and got tons of compliments, so I’m planning to get this one from the current collection next.

BCBGMAXAZRIA "TARA" DRESS
Jackie Fields, Writer-Reporter: I clicked “add to bag” exactly three seconds after I laid eyes on this dress. The cascading, swingy silhouette and high-low hem are so elegant and statement-making that the most delicate necklace would complete the look (because, really, who wants accessorize when it’s hot and sticky out?). I won’t be posting photos of myself in this dress on Instagram … so I can wear it over and over again.
