The Fourth of July is all about thematic dressing, namely anything and everything covered in red, white, and blue especially if those colors all coalesce to create the image of our grand ol’ flag. Don’t believe us? One quick glance at Taylor Swift‘s annual “Taymerica” party should provide more than enough patriotic styling inspo to keep you dressing like it’s Independence Day all year round. And while we’ve seen pretty much every way there is to style an all-American look, Tori Spelling actually managed to bring a new twist to the aesthetic, dying her hair a vibrant shade of rosé.

As has become the yearly celebrity tradition, Tori posted a selfie to Instagram on Monday showing off her festive apparel and her freshly dyed do, paired with a navy headband, a blue and white mani and metallic gold lipstick, just as our forefathers intended. And in case that look wasn’t already peak Americana, the actress also sported another pro-USA look, donning a denim skirt, a stars and stripes tee, a red and blue fedora, and holding a red and white beach ball next to a barbecue just for good measure.

But back to that hair, in order to achieve a look that really screamed “land of the free, home of the brave,” Tori decided to ditch her typical peroxide blonde locks just in time for the long weekend, posting a selfie of her new do on Friday, captioned, “The big summer reveal… The amazing @guy_tang turned this bored blonde into a beautiful #rose Thx my friend I 💗 it!”

Her colorist, Guy Tang, a master of technicolor hair hues, transformed the California blonde into a tall glass of rosé, leaving a few pieces of her natural color throughout to give the look a more realistic feel. Now that Tori sees how easy it is to switch up her style, let’s hope she changes hair colors for every holiday. A startling shade of snow white in celebration of Labor Day, anyone?
