Since their Step Up days, Channing and Jenna Dewan-Tatum (who just celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary this year!) have earned our affection for being among the most adorable, most talented and most well-dressed couples in Hollywood.
But that’s news to Dewan-Tatum, she said with a laugh at Target’s launch celebration for its new children’s clothing line, Cat & Jack, Thursday night.
“We are?! That’s so nice!” she told PeopleStyle. “I should send in a picture for you guys like during the day — our normal parent clothes. And you would be like, ‘Yeah, step it up a little bit!’ ”
The star, who’s passing down her love of fashion to her three-year-old daughter Everly, loves having fun with style whenever she gets the chance.

“I have fun with it. Some people look at it as a chore,” Dewan-Tatum told us. “I look it as another way to express my own personal creativity for the day. If it’s not fun, why do we even do this?”
One of Dewan-Tatum’s most memorable style moments happened at the start of her career, when she wore the first gown a designer ever let her borrow.

“For the Step Up premiere, I wore an Oscar de la Renta dress. I remember it was the biggest deal to everybody. It was red and had this fitting A-line shape,” she said.
The hardest part of the process for her? Giving back the dress when the party’s over.
“I felt like a princess for the night … It’s like Cinderella,” Dewan-Tatum said. “You’re like, ‘It’s midnight. Take off the gown and jewels! It’s all going back!'”
