Look familiar? During a visit to the city of Dunedin, New Zealand Kate wore an aquamarine coat dress that looked strikingly similar to a pink frock she wore (twice!) last spring.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s dress — which she paired with a matching hat by milliner Jane Taylor and the fern brooch she wore when she landed in Wellington on the first day of the Royal Tour — was a sartorial tribute to her host country and to one of her favorite designers, New Zealand-born Emilia Wickstead. (We predicted a rewear of the pink dress, but leave it to Kate to keep us on our toes.)
Kate’s latest look marks the first time she’s worn a dress by designer with a Kiwi connection on the Royal Tour. Wickstead, whose eponymous label is London-based, also created one of Kate’s most memorable maternity dresses.
“She is making everybody want to dress up a little bit more even if you are a young girl,” the designer told PEOPLE after the debut of her Spring/Summer 2014 collection at London Fashion Week last September. “And I think that’s great and really exciting — I’m a true believer in dressing up and making an effort.”

Later in the day, Kate changed into skinny jeans and a waffle knit sweater by Jonathan Saunders to attend the Regal Rippa Rugby Day at Dunedin’s Forsyth Barr Stadium (and to help coach a team of little kids – cue the awws!) And finally, she did a variation on “The Kate” (blue Zara blazer, striped shirt, skinny jeans, wedges) by swapping in a checked shirt to tour a vineyard. And she may have put pregnancy speculation to rest by sampling the vineyard’s wares. Also on the docket? A personally-embroidered life vest for a white-water rafting trip.
Which is your favorite of Kate’s recent outfits? Do you love that she’s getting her favorite dresses in multiple colors?
