We’ll admit that when Lucy Aragon stepped out of the limo on the first episode of this season of The Bachelor our snark radar went off. Between the floral crown, bare feet and her occupation (“free spirit”), she was an instant target on Twitter (although we did like her ALC maxi dress).
The 24-year-old model didn’t fare much better in the second episode, spending most of the time walking a dog totally naked. Even Juan Pablo was taken aback, telling PEOPLE, “Ay, Lucy! I had no idea Lucy was topless so much. I don’t love that she’s like that, but at the end of the day, she’s just a happy camper.”
To her credit, when Lucy did wear clothes, they were pretty killer, including gold Herve Leger bandage dress for the third rose ceremony. However, Juan Pablo still sent her packing, which was a bummer because we were just starting to appreciate both her sartorial taste and her wacky sense of humor.
We knew Lucy would bring it in both departments for the “Women Tell All” episode, and she didn’t disappoint. Here, in her own words, she shares her best and worst dressed contestants from the dramatic night. And make sure you watch her totally hilarious, totally NSFW video she made in honor of her experience on the show.
1. Sharleen: A tasteful black dress by the Kooples, one of my favorite new brands. Accented with black leather for a bit of edge, she donned delicate dangling earrings and a wind blown up do, looking positively regal.
2. Kelly: I’m not sure the brand of her dress but it’s from [the store] Swank in Atlanta. A bright blue and white dress that’s short in the front and longer on the sides was simple and neat, but she really tied it all together with a bold and colorful statement necklace. And, being that I am one myself, I can always appreciate a woman in Prada shoes.
3. Obviously I have to name myself. A flawless one-sleeved, sea foam Emilio Pucci lace dress with a nude layer underneath to give this free spirit the appearance of being “bare” as is expected. Hair down and messy like a mermaid, I tried to stay true to my hippie roots. Though, I did wear shoes this time: a pair of strappy black and gold Jimmy Choos.
My least favorite was Elise. She wore sparkling gowns that looked like they were made out of broken disco balls all season long. She should have continued with her theme.
