Good news for those of you who couldn’t get enough of the amazing pieces at the Phillip Lim for Target launch yesterday: The affordable megastore will be partnering up with another beloved fashion line, Peter Pilotto, and releasing another sure-to-be-awesome collection this winter.
The Peter Pilotto for Target collection will hit stores (in the U.S. and Canada) on February 9 of next year and of course, be available online as well. It’ll feature nearly 70 items — all for women (sorry we’re not sorry, guys!) — and include apparel, accessories and swimwear. Almost everything will cost less than 60 bucks.
The designers behind the brand (Peter Pilotto, at right, and Christopher De Vos, at left) made the exciting announcement Monday afternoon at their runway show during London Fashion Week. Good timing, considering the launch of the Phillip Lim collab was crazy-successful yesterday, with many of the items selling out completely. (We’re still kicking ourselves for not setting our alarm clocks and being able to get our hands on that structured cross-body.)
No photos of the designs are available yet, but expect plenty of the brand’s trademark graphic style, with colorful digital prints in bold blues and greens and warm reds and oranges. Check out photos of Emma Watson, Jaime King and Miranda Kerr all wearing Peter Pilotto dresses to get a sense of the vibe.
And for the first time ever, some of the pieces from this Target collaboration will also be available on Net-A-Porter.com. Holli Rogers, fashion director for Net-A-Porter.com, explains the partnership: “We think Target is an amazing brand, and have long admired their exceptionally produced designer collaborations. We’ve believed in Peter Pilotto for years, and being able to offer our global customer base accessibly priced pieces from such a talented design duo is a phenomenal opportunity.”
