Mirror, mirror on the wall, who has the most Snow White gear of all? That’d be HSN — the retailer is running a mega-sale today, Wednesday, featuring items inspired by
Snow White and the Huntsman
, which hits theaters Friday.
Items include cuffs by Loree Rodkin ($69.95), a “Good vs. Evil” nail polish set from Deborah Lippmann (right, $29.95), an apple-shaped “Forbidden Fruit” pin (center, $119.95) and more jewels from Heidi Daus, plus accessories, clothing and homeware from Hutton Wilkinson, Ranjana Khan, Adrienne Landau and more.
But the centerpiece of the sale is an exclusive clothing collection created by the film’s Oscar-winning costume designer, Colleen Atwood. “I took elements of the medieval designs and some elements from the film and sort of translated them into ready-to-wear things that I thought could be fun for people to have,” she tells PEOPLE.
“This was a different kind of challenge for me,” Atwood explains. “I had a lot of leather in Snow White, and because we were doing a summer line for HSN, it was tricky finding materials I felt looked good.”
But both experiences were particularly memorable for her — especially working on the film. “It was one of the most fun things I’ve ever done,” she says. “I had a good year — I did Snow White and Dark Shadows back to back, so it was two kinds of craziness.” Tell us: Will you shop the collection?
