Sandra Bullock is no stranger to blonde hair. The natural brunette sported a light shade for her Oscar-winning role in The Blind Side back in 2009. Then in 2011, she lightened up again for her role in Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. And now the star is sporting a blonde hue that has editors divided on whether it’s real or faux. Check it out and let us know where you fall in the great wig debate!
Bullock, 50, was snapped on the set of her new film Our Brand Is Crisis in New Orleans Monday, sporting a dirty-blonde color. In the photo above, her scalp appears somewhat visible through her side-part, but because she’s filming, it could just be a very realistic hairpiece. The movie is being produced by her close pal George Clooney, and we wonder if Bullock will be one of the guests at his upcoming wedding. (We’ll be sure to be on hair watch regardless!)
A lot of stars have joined the Hollywood blonde brigade recently. Alanis Morissette did the whole bleached ends, dark roots thing. Dakota Johnson returned to her lighter locks after filming Fifty Shades of Grey (though she promptly went right back to brunette). Camilla Bella and Katharine McPhee brightened up with some highlights. And both Girls stars Zosia Mamet and Lena Dunham went platinum. (Plus, their co-star Jemima Kirke also made a bold mane move, adding hot-pink highlights to her blonde tresses.)
