While many celebrity appearances start with hours of makeup and squeezing into a tiny cocktail dress, Reebok’s #PerfectNever campaign launch in New York City on Wednesday was a welcomed — and super comfy — change.
Ruby Rose joined Reebok ambassador Gigi Hadid for the event that turned active wear into a fashion statement. She rocked a white bralette under a slouchy gray tank that showed off her inked arms paired with matching gray joggers and white sneakers (all courtesy of Reebok).
“I wish I could wear this comfortable clothes every event!!” the 30-year-old actress captioned a shot of her look on Twitter.
Rose revealed the real statement piece — a furry technicolor coat — when she headed out into the N.Y.C. chill.
During the inspiring panel, which also featured Aly Raisman, Lena Dunham and Zoë Kravitz, the Orange Is the New Black actress spoke about how being bullied in high school led her to finding her confidence and own inner strength.

“I wouldn’t take back my childhood for anything because it taught me so much and all the time I got to spend working on myself, the girls and some boys that were spending their time bullying me and giving me all their attention and energy weren’t working on themselves,” she explained. “So I kind of left school with a really good understanding of who I wanted to be, what I wanted to stand for and just kind of a love and appreciation for the things about me that people had always knocked.”
Rose says that ironically, she’s made her career off “all the things that everybody teased me about.”
Rose also made sure to give props to Hadid, who just nabbed the British Fashion Council’s Model of the Year Award, for helping organize the inspiring day.
“But it is always about this girl for me,” Rose captioned a photo of the duo. “The beautiful, kind, hard working, gracious and amazing Gigi.. forever proud of everything you do.”
