The supermodel stripped down and then let makeup artist Joanne Gair paint her up for a shoot in honor of the beauty brand’s 60th anniversary.
According to Klum’s blog, it took 12 hours for Gair to apply the intricate body paint. “This was probably close to the 13th time I’ve been body painted by her,” Klum writes. “You have to be good at being patient! I don’t mind sitting still for such a long time, though; it’s a living piece of art that I’m so honored to be a part of.” (The model mom regularly sits for hours on end to get dressed up in her elaborate Halloween costumes, too.)
Want a chance to meet the woman behind the makeup? This week, Klum is auctioning off a meet and greet through eBay in honor of Bright Pink. Check out ebay.com/heidiklum for more details — and to bid on a bit of time with Klum.
