Nicole Kidman has famously been a curly redhead and a glamorous blonde (just check out her latest Jimmy Choo ads). And now the actress has just changed her mane again, transforming into a brunette for her upcoming film.
Kidman debuted a rich dark shade on set of her new movie Strangerland, which she’s busy filming in Sydney. We highly doubt it’s permanent since it’s for a role — even if you’re loving this look on her, we wouldn’t get too attached. But we’re curious to see how she’ll style her deep brown tresses if she hits the red carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday with husband Keith Urban. (That’s a big “if” since, of course, since she’s shooting her movie across the world.)
The star (who nabbed PEOPLE’s Most Beautiful Woman in the World title in 2002) recently told InStyle that she’s learned to love her curly hair. “I almost never straighten it anymore,” she said. “It’s taken me 40-something years, but I embrace the curl. My littlest daughter has the same hair. She likes it when my hair is curly, so I wear it for her.”
What do you think of Kidman’s new look? Do you think she should stay brunette or go back to blonde? Sound off below!
