Pan Am’s Karine Vanasse may be flying through the 1960s on her new show, but currently, the actress is helping bring fashion and shopping to life on the web by showing off designer styles in a new, interactive way.

The starlet is helping to introduce JOYUS, the world’s first video fashion e-tailer, which features clips from top designers and allows shoppers to watch clothes in motion, buy them through limited-time sales and share their purchases via Facebook and Twitter.

In the clip above, the Pan Am star tries on some of the latest looks from designer Richard Chai in a format that will be a staple on the new site. Other designers getting in on the trend include Christian Siriano, Cut 25 by Yigal Azrouël, Theodora & Callum, Rebecca Minkoff and Nicole Miller, all of whom will share their latest looks in short-form videos soon.

“JOYUS is a cool, new channel for me to test buy-now, wear-now sales,” says Project Runway alum Siriano. “I’ve been wanting to do something like this on my website for over a year and I’m thrilled JOYUS has actually done it!” In fact, following his runway show, Siriano hosted a video highlighting five must-have pieces from his fall/winter 2011 collection.
