We love tracking Beyoncé‘s bold stage style. (It ranks right up there with reading this Bey dictionary and watching her “Drunk In Love” video on loop.) The singer is collaborating with practically every big name designer for her Mrs. Carter World tour and let’s be honest — the outfits keep. getting. better. (Like the epic Tom Ford moment picture above.)
Now, her stylists Ty Hunter and Raquel Smith are giving a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to keep Queen’s Bey wardrobe closet in check.
“When Beyonce wants new wardrobe, Ty and I reach out to different designers. Once they sumbit the sketches, we go through each sketch and we’ll select which ones we feel will be appropriate for her,” Smith explains of the process. “We talk about the fabrics. It’s a process. It has to be stage appropriate in order for her to dance.”
The superstar has some of the best seamstresses in the business working to make sure each look is perfect and every sequin is in place. Catch the video below (we can’t stop talking about the tribal-print Emilio Pucci bodysuit) and share your thoughts in the comments. What’s your favorite Bey tour look?
