Pop star Kylie Minogue recently joined the ranks of a growing group of stars owning up to a little out-patient beauty help with her admission over the weekend that “Yes, I’ve used Botox.” But it’s the singer’s surprisingly old-school replacement that’s causing a stir: “I’m embracing my age and now my only secret is Pond’s Cream,” she told British paper News of the World on Sunday of going needle-free. “I use it every day. It’s all I really use to look after my skin.” And these words have been making waves across the pond in the form of skyrocketing demand for the product. In what’s being dubbed ‘The Kylie Effect’, sales of Pond’s Cold Cream in the U.K. quadrupled in less than 36 hours since her revelation, brand reps confirm to PEOPLE.
