Kylie Jenner Says She Wants to 'Try a Pixie' Haircut, So We Gave Her 'The Kris'

Posted on

Kylie Jenner holds the title of Hollywood’s biggest hair chameleon, but one look she’s yet to try — a pixie cut. And according to the 18-year-old beauty mogul in the making, she’d love to experiment with a cropped style.

“I’ve always wanted to try a pixie cut — like I’ve always wanted to try super short, because I’ve been to my chin before, but that’s the shortest I’ve gone,” Kylie told PeopleStyle Thursday at a Nordstrom luncheon celebrating her clothing collection with sister Kendall Jenner.

We know what you’re thinking: Kylie? Pixie? Never gonna happen. But her beauty bombshell had us thinking that if she were to go short, she’d probably turn to the ultimate Pixie Princess — her mom Kris Jenner — for guidance. Below, what Kylie would look like with her mom’s iconic do.

Kris’ pixie hair is basically the polar opposite of Kylie’s current mane move: a long blonde wig, which she wore to the Kendall + Kylie Collection event Thursday. She paired her long faux strands with a knit racer-back dress and gladiator sandals from the line, a look almost identical to the outfit Kendall wore to the N.Y.C. launch of the line.

Kendall told PeopleStyle at the event that while she’s not one to pull bold hair changes like Kylie, she loves to experiment with her style. More specifically, she loves bringing back ’90s trends.

Her latest obsession? Chokers, which she said are “back in and no one would have thought that a couple of months ago.”

“[Chokers] were cool, I swear, like a year ago when no one was really catching on,” the model, 20, told PeopleStyle.

Last year when, Kylie, was “cutting her hair and dying it blue,” she was also getting in touch with the trend (particularly the stretchy tattoo chokers).

“They’re all of a sudden coming back in,” Kendall added. “Even when [Kylie] would wear them I would never wear them.”

Bu, now that Kendall has given the look a chance, guess who’s dropped it?

“I’m not a choker person anymore,” Kylie confirmed. “Times have changed.”

Yes, they have. What do you think of Kylie getting a pixie? Do you like her with a short cut? Share below.
