We can’t help but notice that celebrities have been super into bees lately, from Lea Michele’s Burt’s Bees endorsement to Gwyneth Paltrow’s controversial confession that she uses the insects for their ancient anti-inflammatory, anti-aging benefits. And now Kourtney Kardashian is getting in on the honey bee beauty action announcing her partnership on Thursday with beauty line Manuka Doctor, serving as the new brand ambassador.
The eldest member of reality TV’s first family is known for her passion for all-natural products, both when it comes to what she eats and what she slathers on her face and body. She even built her entire website and app around her love for all things eco-friendly, so it only makes sense that the first beauty product she would endorse and serve as the face of (besides her own) would also be organic. Manuka Doctor is a London-based brand that sources Manuka honey and other bee products from New Zealand to create their line of natural skincare and cosmetics.

The brand tweeted the partnership, writing, “Proud to announce @kourtneykardash as our NEW brand ambassador! #BeeingKourtney #SkincareFromTheHive” along with a short video featuring behind the scenes clips from the photoshoot with their new face who enthused that she’s been using the product for years and after posting a picture of one of their products on her app the brand reached out to her and she just felt like it would be a “super organic, perfect fit.”
While we couldn’t agree more that the partnership makes total sense, we have to wonder how much longer until one of these celebs takes their love of bees to the next level and becomes a full-blown apiarist.
