2014 was a huge year for Kim Kardashian. She got married, broke the Internet and landed a major fashion campaign with husband Kanye West. She also put a ton of effort into her personal style, treating even the most mundane outing like a major red carpet event. But even in a year jam-packed with zillion-dollar outfits at the grocery store, Kardashian was able to choose one look that stood out among the rest.

“This Givenchy look could possibly be my favorite look of 2014,” she shared on Instagram, referring to the plunging black lace jumpsuit design she wore front row at the label’s Paris Fashion show, alongside her daughter North (who wore a matching look, of course) and Kanye.
Kardashian also revealed that her wardrobe is ever-evolving, and she has big plans to improve on it this year.
“Up all night redoing my whole wardrobe with Kanye….. I’m so ready for new looks for the New Year! New 2015 vision,” she Tweeted. While we wait to see that “vision” unfold, we rounded up some of our favorite moments from the Kim Kardashian 2014 fashion reel. Check them out below!

Brittany Talarico, Style News Editor: This Balmain mini might be one of the few Kim looks that doesn’t involve a crop top or cutout. And maybe that’s why I like it. I’m so used to seeing Kim’s abs, but this design puts all the attention on her legs. Her spray tan never looked better, her hair was in perfect pre-wedding mode. Basically, Kim hit the streets of Paris looking like a walking fashion ad. Plus, the pastel hues, beading and floral design gave the look a bridal vibe.
Loni Venti, Style and Beauty Editor: It’s no secret that the Kardashian-Wests (yes, even baby North!) are all about Balmain. So my top look from Kim’s 2014 portfolio is this futuristic, gladiator getup that she sported to their Paris show (which featured her little sister, Kendall — seriously the family is obsessed!). Once paired with a fembot-esque choker, a set of major cuff bracelets, lace-up sandals and one very post-apocalyptic looking Kanye, she was the full-blown high-fashion reality goddess we all know and love (or love to hate).
Sarah Kinonen, Editorial Assistant: Do you remember this Kim look? Probably not. But I do. While we’re all used to seeing the TV personality in ultra-revealing tops and skintight bottoms in her favorite hues (black or tan), back in October, the star veered away from her signature style and finally embraced some color in this look, which is why it’s one of my favorites. In a gray Wolford long-sleeve top, red ribbed T by Alexander Wang midi and red strappy heels, the star pulls off a toned-down look that we could even wear ourselves. It makes me hopeful that her “2015 vision” involves more color, too.
Alex Apatoff, Senior Style Editor: Kim is a really pretty person, but her clothing choices (whether slit, tight, shiny or plunging) seem to be selected to distract from that very fact and get us talking about her questionable taste level instead. That’s why this two-piece look, worn to an event in honor of her Paper mag cover, was such a refreshing choice. It hits all of her favorite style notes (two piece, lots of leg, nude lips) but because it’s so simple, the focus is on her pretty face, which she also keeps uncharacteristically low-key and underdone. My New Year’s Resolution for the star (not that she asked) is that she continues to choose more well-fitting, simple styles that allow her naturally good looks to shine a little more.
