Kevin Hart is not only “the first comedian to ever make more than Jerry Seinfeld,” according to Forbes, he is also a savvy style savant. And what makes him so fun to watch on the red carpet is how incredibly strategic he is about what he wears for events big and small, be it coordinating his suit piping with his wife for the Golden Globes or matching tuxes with his son for his wedding.
Last night, he proved his fashion thoughtfulness yet again when he attended the Men’s Fitness Game Changers party in West Hollywood, which celebrated his new cover with the magazine, in a Christian Dior look that combined all of his favorite things.
“Being that I was coming and this is Men’s Fitness I said, ‘I’m going to come and be dapper but I want to hit them with an athletic side as well,’” the 37-year-old told PEOPLE.

“So it’s a Christian Dior suit but it’s like a jogger dress pant,” he said of the look, above. “It’s like I’m ready to work out but then I’m ready to take a picture, too. So I’m giving you the best of both worlds in a chic, casual way.”
Behold, Kevin Hart is helping to usher in a new era of red carpet athleisure.
“Everything I’m doing now is to make history, it’s to set myself apart for our generation to be special,” he told PEOPLE. “Stand-up comedy has given me an amazing platform to do so.”
