Here at PeopleStyle we track every single time stars step out in the same outfits (catch them all here). But never before in faceoff history have there been three twinning moments in one day, all starting with the same celeb! Starting Wednesday night, Kendall Jenner, Carrie Underwood and Princess Kate all shared a major faceoff moment with none other than … Paris Hilton. Shocked? Surprised? Fascinated? Take it all in for yourself below.
First, Kendall Jenner attended her blowout 21st birthday bash in L.A. in a custom creation by Lebanese designer Antoine Salameh of the brand LaBourjoisie. Together with Jenner’s stylist Monica Rose, they created a shimmery mesh mini dress with plunging neckline and fully exposed back based off of an inspiration photo provided by the model.
And you guessed it! That inspiration came from the dress Hilton wore to her own 21st birthday party in 2002. Jenner shared a photo of her dress — an almost exact replica — with the caption, “vintage Paris Hilton vibes.”

Our next faceoff moment is between Underwood and Hilton, and in a fun twist, also features the same designer as the one behind Jenner’s birthday dress: LaBourjoisie! As we have come to expect from Underwood’s CMA Awards hosting duties, she transformed the stage into her own personal runway Wednesday night with 10 outfit changes. And one swap included a plunging shimmery gold fringe gown from LaBourjoisie that the heiress previously wore to the The Art of Giving Love Ball in July.
We really hoped Underwood had intended to channel the socialite, as Jenner did, but her inspo came from another source. Since the CMAs celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, Underwood dedicated each dress to an iconic country star. The glittery gold number was in honor of Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton.
“The ’70s were a little more showy so we went with this gorgeous low cut — I don’t wanna say disco dress, that’s so the wrong word — but it’s very gold,” she told PeopleStyle. “It’s just super flashy. It would make someone look a little more curvy, which I’m not, so that’s good. I need all the help I can get! It’s very Dolly inspired.”
And finally, our final faceoff comes from the most unlikely contender: Princess Kate. (Both royalty in their own special way.) Each woman wore a white Self Portrait gown featuring a lace bodice and pleated skirt with a thigh-high slit to red carpet events; Kate made her first red carpet appearance of the year at the Thursday premiere of A Street Cat Named Bob, while Hilton just wore hers on October 28 at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in L.A.
We don’t know what’s more delightful: The coincidence that three huge stars all wore dresses Hilton got to first on the same day, or the fact that there’s finally someone out there who can rival Kris Jenner with the amount of faceoffs. But wait, it gets better from here: Kris and Hilton both dressed up as Alice from Alice in Wonderland for Halloween this year. Mind blown.
