If you thought Mila Kunis’s smoky eye at the Golden Globes was show-stopping, then you’re probably even more blown away by the bold eye makeup Keira Knightley wore to the Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit premiere in L.A. Wednesday. Luckily, we have the breakdown for you.

The look, courtesy of Chanel celebrity makeup artist Kate Lee, was inspired by Knightley’s outfit: a Chanel navy knit dress with white bow details.

“I wanted to keep her looking more of the moment, and so we went for a navy creamy smudged eye,” Lee says.

And if you’re anxious to try this at home, here’s Lee’s breakdown. “On the eye I started out by lining the inside of the eye, upper and lower lash line with Chanel Le Crayon Khôl Intense Eye Pencil in ‘Marine,’ then worked along the lash line above and below them gently blended the lines. Next, I reached for Chanel Limited Edition Illusion D’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in ‘Apparition,’ which is a beautiful shimmering navy to melt away the lines and give a soft effect.”

As for those mega lashes, Lee used one coat of Chanel Inimitable Mascara in “Noir.” (For tips on the best way to apply mascara, check out this video.)

With the major smoky eye happening, Lee made sure to keep Knightley’s lips soft and natural selecting Chanel’s Rouge Coco Hydrating Crème Lip Colour in “Mademoiselle.”

It’s no surprise that the actress (and Chanel brand ambassador ) selected a head-to-toe look from the label. And it’s also no surprise that her favorite look of all time happens to be Chanel. (Come on, this is the girl who wore her Chanel wedding dress three times!)

“There was a purpley, blacky, Chanel dress that I wore to the Atonement premiere in Toronto Film Festival, don’t know what the year was, but it’s my all time favorite dress,” she told PEOPLE on the carpet.
