We’ve all had that beauty debate before a big night out: Should we do a bold lip and porcelain skin or a neutral lip with an allover bronze glow? Here to make that decision even harder is Kate Upton, who wears both looks equally well in her debut ads for Bobbi Brown cosmetics.

Upton poses in ads for the brand’s new lipstick collection (left), which features 32 shades in nudes, reds, pinks and more. She also models the “Sand and Surf” line (right), which was inspired by Brown’s favorite beaches and includes two limited-edition shimmery eyeshadow palettes for “both poolside and cocktail” occasions, blushes, sheer lip color (which you can totally rock on the beach), an eye pencil stick and cream shadow.
As for Upton’s go-to beauty look? She’s all about highlighting her cheekbones. “A little contour at the cheek,” she told Bobbi Brown of her top makeup trick. “After jet lag [when] you’re off a plane and you’re feeling bloated.”
The supermodel also revealed that her mom introduced her to Bobbi Brown products as a kid, so the collaboration with the brand was a natural fit. Her introduction into modeling, however, wasn’t as easy. “At the time I was modeling, it was more of a slim look. I actually got down on myself,” she said. “I didn’t feel as confident. I didn’t feel beautiful. It took me a minute to realize that it doesn’t really matter what people say to you or what people think. It’s about competing with yourself and you being the best you can be.”
